Lucy Maud Montgomery's House & Cavendish Visitor Information Centre
This historic house was originally the home of Anne of Green Gables' author, Lucy Maud Montgomery (although it no longer stands on the original site). It now hosts the Cavendish Visitor Information Centre, exhibits on the local area and a crafts and souvenir shop. Open mid-May to mid-October.

This Victorian style house was built in the mid 1800s and once housed the ancestors of Lucy Maude Montgomery. The house and farm were the inspiration for the setting of the famous Anne of Green Gables. The grounds include winding trails and interpretive programs are offered daily in the summer. Open daily from May 1 to October 31.

Lucy Maud Montgomery's Cavendish National Historic Site
These beautiful grounds in tranquil rural surroundings are the site of the home where Montgomery lived from 1876-1911. Here she was raised by her grandparents, and wrote Anne of Green Gables. There is a bookstore and museum on the site. This land is still maintained and lived on by descendents of Montgomery.
